Research in the Comprehensive Heart Failure Center

Please click here to go to the research area of the Comprehensive Heart Failure Center. Find out more about the research projects in the individual departments, junior groups and other working groups, which jointly seek answers to the most important questions within the DZHI:

How does the cardiac muscle change in the course of heart failure, and what are the underlying mechanisms? How do heart and brain interact? Which interactions exist with other organs?

The research area also presents our various core facilities. These are research units that also provide external scientists with their technical infrastructure as well as technical expertise and services in the form of mentoring, consulting and analysis.

Finally, we present in this research area our clinical trials that examine the efficacy of medicaments and medical devices, test new care methods, evaluate routine data and monitor and track participants' disease progression. Find out here how you can also benefit from clinical trials - as a patient or as a participant.
