At our department we have qualified consultants in all fields of ophthalmological diseases:

  • Pediatric ophthalmology / Strabismus / Neuroopthalmology
  • Cornea
  • Refractive surgery
  • Oculoplastics
  • Intraocular tumors
  • Cataract surgery
  • LowVision / contact lenses

The research areas of our department include the investigation of age-related macular degeneration (AMD), new opthalmological imaging methods, new intraocular pressure measurement methods, as well as new surgical procedures in the field of retina and glaucoma.

Our main focus is optimal eye care of our patients in this highly developed academic institution.
