Teaching resources
Due to the confusing flood of textbooks on the subject of anesthesia, former clinic director Prof. Dr. med. Dr. h.c. Roewer himself has published two works that are suitable for students and young professionals and summarize the basic knowledge. The works Anästhesie compact and Taschenatlas Anästhesie were both published by Thieme Verlag. Other works by the publishing house of the same name are aimed at doctors in continuing education. They are: Anesthesia in emergency medicine, anesthesiological pharmacotherapy and transesophageal echocardiography. Further teaching aids from our staff include monographs on obstetric anesthesia and on the prophylaxis and therapy of nausea and vomiting after anesthesia, Springer-Verlag.
