ResolvePAIN Retreat 2027
Dear Members of CRU 5001, dear Colleagues,
With our second funding period being in full swing, the Clinical Research Unit ResolvePAIN is pleased to invite you to its retreat in Kloster Banz on March 18 – 19, 2027. As in 2023, this special location provides the setting for scientific exchange and lively discussions about current research findings and new perspectives in the field of pain research and pain relief.
Project-specific workshops and exchanges with three international experts will provide an opportunity to discuss promising findings and future developments. In addition, early-career researchers from ResolvePAIN, medical researchers from the GSLS, and clinician-scientists from the IZKF’s Pain Medicine focus area will present their work in poster sessions and a science slam.
We look forward to two exciting days of stimulating discussions and new insights for pain research.

About the Retreat
The ResolvePAIN Retreat brings together researchers at different career stages to promote scientific exchange and collaboration in the field of pain and resolution research. The programme will combine scientific presentations, project-specific workshops, poster sessions and a Science Slam.
The Retreat is intended for members of CRU 5001 within and outside the University Hospital Würzburg, as well as invited national and international experts in the field of pain research.

Poster Session
As part of the ResolvePAIN Retreat, early-career researchers have the opportunity to present their research findings in a poster session and discuss them with other participants. The following guidelines apply to the design and submission of posters:
- Poster format: DIN A0, portrait orientation. Feel free to use this poster template.
- Poster Title: We will ask for your poster title during registration. You may change the title later, up until January 31, 2027. To do so, please send us an email at Resolvepain@ukw.de
- Abstracts: Submission of an abstract is not required.
