Marthe Gründahl is a doctoral researcher in the Translational Social Neuroscience lab (Prof. Dr. Hein) at the Center of Mental Health.
She studied Psychology at the University of Würzburg, with Erasmus stays in Italy and France.
Her research focusses on the application of smartphone and sensor-based Ecological Momentary Assessment in the investigation of social interactions and their relation to anxiety and physiology. In the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, she is investigating how social distancing measures relate to loneliness and impaired mental health. In reference to this, she developed and validated a questionnaire for the assessment of loneliness and isolation during social distancing (the LISD Scale).
