Marthe Gründahl is a scientific employee in the Translational Social Neuroscience lab (Prof. Dr. Hein) at the Center of Mental Health.

She studied Psychology at the University of Würzburg, with Erasmus stays in Italy and France.

Her research focusses on the application of smartphone and sensor-based Ecological Momentary Assessment to examine social interactions and their relation to anxiety, pain, and related physiological changes. Investigating loneliness and mental health in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, she developed and validated a questionnaire for the assessment of loneliness and isolation during social distancing (the LISD Scale).
