Teaching, specialist training and continuing medical education
For students of medicine, psychology, biology, translational neuroscience, and speech therapy, we offer the subjects "Psychiatry and Psychotherapy" and "Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy" within the framework of curricular and supplementary lectures and courses. In addition, it is possible to complete student internships, clinical traineeships and part of the “Praktisches Jahr” – the hands-on hospital training in the last year of medical school – in our department.
Doctors can complete further training in our clinic to become specialists in psychiatry and psychotherapy, psychologists can train to become psychological psychotherapists.
It is also possible for interested nursing staff to become qualified as a specialized psychiatric nurse through the state-approved two-year further training course.
Our continuing medical education seminars are intended for allinterested medical and psychological colleagues as well as non-medical specialists.
