Roxane Philips
Roxane Philips is a postdoctoral researcher in the Translational Social Neuroscience Group at the Center for Mental Health.
She completed her doctorate at the University of Luxembourg in 2025 in the Department of Behavioural and Cognitive Science, in Professor Claus Vögele’s research group. Her doctoral dissertation investigated the role of future-oriented affect in decision-making.
Her current focus expands on this work by investigating prospective thought within the context of social cognition. Anticipation is a fundamental aspect of social relationships, decision-making and behavior. This research aims to further characterize future-oriented cognition and how it shapes our social worlds and behaviors.
